Vivian L. Holtry

Vivian L. Holtry, 89, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Orrstown Personal Care Home.

She was born on June 22, 1936 in Shippensburg, PA, Cumberland County, a daughter of the late Roy E. and Margaret Van Scyoc Koser. She married Clarence W. Holtry, Jr. on June 22, 1957. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2018.

Vivian was a graduate of Shippensburg High School and a faithful member of the Ridge Covenant Brethren Church, where she was active in their Ladies Fellowship. Throughout her working years, she was employed at The Beistle Company, Peoples Bank, and retired from the former Dauphin Deposit. Vivian also co-owned R&H Crafts and enjoyed going to craft shows.

She is survived by one daughter, Darlene (G. Brian) Coffman of Terra Alta, WV; one son, Randy (Tamra) Holtry of Newburg; three grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Sheaffer of Carlisle, Jessica Holtry of Shippensburg, and Christopher (Kaylyn) Holtry of Newburg; two step-grandchildren, Jeff (Sarah) Coffman of Hedgesville, WV and Brice Coffman of Cross Roads Junction, VA; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ridge Covenant Brethren Church. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
