Thomas William West, III

Thomas William West III, 69, of Newville, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at UPMC Carlisle Hospital.

Born Saturday, October 20, 1956 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Thomas M. and Dolores H. Beck West, Jr.

Tom attended the Newville First Church of God. He retired in 2018 with 31 years of service from ABF Freight, Carlisle. He loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, camping, and bowling. In his younger years raising German Shepherds.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Lois M. Zinn West whom he married May 27, 2017; his close cousins, Donna Fowler of Lehighton, PA, and Dorothy Einhorn of Warrington, PA; his furry companions, Jake and Buddy. He is also survived by two daughters; two granddaughters, and several cousins and aunts.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with The Rev. Wayne A. Good officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newville First Church of God, 475 Shippensburg Road, Newville, PA 17241.
