Shirllinda L. Force

Shirllinda L. Force, 73, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Chambersburg Hospital with her loving husband by her side.

She was born on October 4, 1952 in Lock Haven, PA, a daughter of the late Pearl Berry.

Shirllinda retired as a supervisor from Andrews Air Force Base. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church and was an active volunteer at Katie’s Place. She loved crafting and was a selfless person who enjoyed helping others in any way she could.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Claude L. “Sonny” Force, Jr., of Shippensburg; two children, Claude L. “Chip” (Mardina G. “Deena”) Force III of Shippensburg, and Wintry Jean (Michael “Mikey”) Alpheaus of Florida; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Lavina (Paul) Coppenhaver of Avis, PA.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Shirllinda’s wishes, there will be no public viewing, visitation, or service.
