Ruthie Danielle Basilio Reed

Our beloved daughter, Ruthie Danielle Basilio Reed, was born into the arms of Jesus on October 21, 2025, at 4:16 p.m., after 18 weeks and 3 days of being so deeply loved. Weighing 1.8 ounces and measuring 7.8 inches long, Ruthie was beautifully and wonderfully made. She had her daddy’s nose and ears and looked so much like her big sisters. Her tiny hands and feet were perfectly formed — a reflection of God’s delicate craftsmanship.

Though her time with us was brief, Ruthie’s life is an everlasting testimony to love, hope, and faith. She knew nothing but warmth, safety, unconditional love and the sound of her mama’s heartbeat. Being her parents has been the greatest honor and blessing.

We find comfort in knowing that Ruthie only knew peace and love, and that she rests safely in the arms of our Savior. She never experienced pain, sadness, hunger or the sin of this world. It is because of Jesus Christ that we hold onto the promise and hope of Heaven — knowing this goodbye is only temporary. We pray that Ruthie’s life, memory, and legacy serve as a reminder of our Heavenly Father, whose ways are higher and greater than our own.

Ruthie is cherished by her parents, Brianna Lane (Gipe) Basilio Reed and Daniel Basilio Reed, and adored by her big sisters, Avery Mazzola and DoraMay Basilio Reed. She is also deeply loved by her many extended family members — the Cianciulli family, the Gipe family, and the Reed family, who will forever hold her memory close.
