Roberta D. "Bobbi" Howell

Roberta D. “Bobbi” (Humer) Howell, 78, of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly the morning of Saturday, October 18, 2025 at her home.

She was born on September 7, 1947 in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late Robert W. Humer and Lena H. (Shearer) Jones.

Bobbi was a graduate of Chambersburg Area High School and retired from Letterkenny Army Depot. She enjoyed shopping, had a love for cats, and adored her furry companion, Cookie Jo.

She is survived by her sister, Debora S. Rietman and husband Barry of Chambersburg; niece, Shellene S. Swamy and husband Navdeep of Brookeville, MD; numerous other nieces and nephews; and her cousin, Norma Umbrell of Shippensburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Shearer who passed away on October 11, 1987.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Per Bobbi’s wishes, all services will be private.
