Robert E. "Bob" Ocker

Robert E. “Bob” Ocker, 64, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Tuesday, August 7, 1962 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Delores Jean Winters Ocker of Shippensburg, and the late Robert Lee Ocker.

Bob was a 1980 graduate of Shippensburg High School. He formerly worked as an office clerk at Sommerville Plumbing and Heating in Chambersburg.

He loved restoring and working on old cars and trucks. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, David L. (Debbie) Ocker, Shippensburg; and one sister, Lynda Lee (John) Sommerville, McVeytown.

Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation, or funeral service at this time.
