Richard T. Price

Richard T. Price, 77, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Shippensburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Born Tuesday, July 13, 1948 in Kingston, Luzerne County, PA., he was a son of the late Thomas R. and Virginia W. Witt Price.

He was a 1966 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. He received his Master’s degree in Math from Penn State University in 1971. Richard retired September 29, 1999 from the Department of Health and Human Services as a Claims Representative.

Richard was a member of the Messiah United methodist Church, Shippensburg. He enjoyed horse racing and playing poker which took him to the World Poker Tour.

He is survived by one uncle, William F. Witt, Jr., Franklin VA; one aunt, Jacqueline O’Neill, Baldwin, NY; and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Teresa Andrsko Price who passed away August 13, 2007; and one brother, John W. Price.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
