Randy Comerer

Randy E. Comerer, 63, of Shippensburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Wednesday, July 3, 1957 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Wilbur W. and Dorothy A. Bittinger Comerer.

Randy was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 and the Minnequa Social Club, both in Shippensburg. He was a carpenter by trade with ten years of service with A.W.I. Affiliated in Shippensburg. He was a very skilled carpenter and a jack of all trades.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Kay Yeatter Comerer; one son, Ronnie W. Comerer, Camp Hill; one daughter, Tina R. (Timothy) Burkholder, Newburg; one brother, Richard L. (Linda) Comerer, Shippensburg; six sisters, Linda C. Cummings, Betty J. Boyd, Deborah K. Peters, all of Shippensburg, Judith M. Derr, Plainfield, Beverly A. (Denny) Nye, Shippensburg, and Penny R. (Alan) Burd, Chambersburg; three step-sons, Shawn L. Snyder, Lonnie E. Snyder, both of Path Valley, and Ricky A. Snyder, Shippensburg; sister in-law, Linda McCleary, Shippensburg; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-brother, Joseph E. McCleary.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
