Pauline M. Rotz, 90, of Chambersburg, and formerly of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Chambers Point, Chambersburg, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Saturday, May 18, 1935 in Newville, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Rhoda M. Cramer Vaughn.
She attended the Shippensburg Area High School.
Pauline worked at the former Shirt Craft and L’Aiglon Clothing factories in Shippensburg as a seamstress before working at The Beistle Company for 26 years, retiring July 31, 1992.
She was a member of the Cleversburg United Methodist Church. Pauline was a member of the Franklin County Farm Women, AARP, and Tops, all in Shippensburg. She loved shopping, and experiencing many adventures with her dear friend Mary Bard.
Pauline loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving her is one daughter, Brenda K. (husband Michael Cook) Rotz, Chambersburg; one son, Larry E. (Wendy) Rotz, State College; four grandchildren, Tawnya B. (husband Nelson) Fisher, St, Thomas, Larissa C. Croutch, Greencastle, Matthew K. (Kayla) Rotz, Fayetteville; and Madeline A. Cook, Chambersburg; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Robert Vaughn, Shippensburg; two sisters, Ardella Snouffer, Vineland, NJ, and Martha Myers, Thurmont, MD; one daughter in-law, Deborah K. Rotz, Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl W. Rotz, who passed away December 1, 2003; one son, Terry L. Rotz; eight sisters; and seven brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cleversburg United Methodist Church, with Pastor Barbara Servello officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday, at the church.
