Patsy A. Martin

Patsy A. Martin, 73, of Chambersburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home.

She was born on February 18, 1952 in Newville, a daughter of the late Glen R. and Janet G. Souders Horn, Sr.

Patsy was a 1970 graduate of Big Spring High School and former member of Cumberland County Farm Women. She loved collecting antiques, tending to her garden, and especially cherished the Christmas season, which was her favorite time of year. She also enjoyed watching football and spending time with her husband at tractor pulls.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby (Wendy) Martin of Shady Grove and Josh (Brandi) Martin of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Cody (Quinn) Martin, Christopher Hammond, Lacey (Derrick) Mentzer, and Logan (Erika) Moon; four great-grandchildren, Adalynn Martin, Cashton Martin, Landyn Mentzer, and Oaklynn Moon; two siblings, Glen (Florence) Horn, Jr. of Shippensburg and Janette Washington of Carlisle; and grandpup, Rebel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Martin, who passed away on September 8, 2021. Also preceding in death is one sister, Glenda Branthafer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Nathan Hykes will officiate. Burial will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
