Patricia A. Bishop

Patricia A. Bishop, 85, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Chambersburg Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on May 24, 1940 in Leesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Marion H. and Martha A. (Rhoades) Reese. She married Larry E. Bishop on March 7, 1969. After 56 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on February 16, 2026.

Pat was a 1959 of Shippensburg High School. She worked at the former Stanley Company before dedicating 35 years of service as a bus driver for Lee McBeth & Sons. She cherished and cared about each and every child as if they were her own. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Pat was an animal lover who enjoyed camping and motorcycle riding with her husband in her younger years.

She is survived by two children, Deborah S. “Debbie” Naugle and husband Kirk and Michael E. “Mike” Bishop and significant other Martina Dagenhart, all of Shippensburg; five grandchildren, DeAnna Naugle and fiancé Brandon Diehl, Blake Naugle and wife Sumer, Logan Bishop, Jason Dagenhart, and Aleea Dagenhart; six great-grandchildren, Huckson and Wrenley Naugle, Ryver and Tinnleigh Bishop, and Scarlett and Carson Diehl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Richard L. (Evelyn) Reese, Barbara J. Killian, and Donna L. Reese.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg with Mrs. Sonya Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
