Miriam Louise (Rock) Beaver, 91, of The Village of Pond Bank, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at Menno Haven Brookview Health Care Center, Chambersburg.
Born Sunday, September 16, 1934 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Roy Nicklas and Esther Mae Bumbaugh Rock.
She was a graduate of the Chambersburg High School. Miriam was a Life member of the Pond Bank Independent Church.
She was a faithful follower of Christ, she loved reading her Bible, singing Bible Hymns, and had a very strong Christian Faith. She taught Sunday school class and sang in the Church Choir.
Miriam enjoyed attending all of her son’s sporting events, gardening, baking, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by four sons, Bradley A. (Deb) Beaver, Green Valley, AZ, Keith N. Beaver, Chambersburg, Douglas K. (Susan) Beaver, Mechanicsburg, and Darrell L. (Lesli) Beaver, Greencastle; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kennedy Beaver, who passed away September 21, 2015; two sisters, Lorraine Rock, and Orpha Bakner; and two brothers, Eber and Marlin Rock.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Brady Smith officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Menno Haven Brookview Health Care Center, 1000 Northfield Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
