Michelle R. "Shelly" Wirick

Michelle R. "Shelly" Wirick, 54 of Newville passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born on June 15, 1971 in Carlisle, a daughter of John Wirick and Linda Horn Bailey.

Shelly graduated in 1989 from Big Spring High School and attended Vo-Tech for Cosmetology. After graduating, Shelly began her career as a beautician in Shippensburg, later owning and operating her salon “Shelly’s Elegant Outlooks” for over ten years. She enjoyed watching scary movies with her grandson and spending time with her family. She welcomed friends and family into her home with hospitality and the warmth of her cooking. She took pride in her home, decorating it with an abundance of thriving plants, candles, and wall decor. You could always find her taking a nap with her beloved cat, Kevin.

Shelly will be dearly missed by her two children, Megan E. Wirick-Yinger of Lancaster and Drew M. Flinchum of Newville, and her grandson, Carson M. Flinchum. She is also survived by her father, John Wirick of Middletown and her mother, Linda Horn Bailey of Newville and sister, Tammy Heberlig of Newville.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
