Michael Anthony Witmer, Sr., 57, of Town Mills, Shippensburg, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at his home.
Born Monday, October 24, 1955 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Roland Woodrow and Bennie Frank Mayo Witmer Shatzer.
Michael was of the Protestant Faith. He was a self employed Carpenter, and was a member of the Hub City Social Club, Shippensburg.
Surviving are his wife of seven years, Lori Jean Ott Witmer; two sons, Michael A. Witmer, Jr., and John B. Witmer both of Shippensburg; one step son, Justin M. Gallo of Carlisle; one brother, Glynn Walker of Edenville; four sisters, Glynette Kepner of Edenville, Charlotte Stowers of Virginia,
Minta Hessler and Carla Baltimore both of Chambersburg; and two grandchildren, Trinity L. and Jayden M. Gallo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Snyder; one uncle Lester Witmer; and one granddaughter, Brooklyn Fay Witmer.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
