Mary Elizabeth Johnson, 66, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Wednesday, August 19, 1959 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late George William and Julia Mae (Johnston) Naugle.
She enjoyed gardening, taking pride in her flowers, and spending time at the beach.
Mary is survived by her husband of 48 years, Boyd J. Johnson III; two daughters, Brooke (Tony) Johnson, and Lindsay (Kyle) Johnson; three grandchildren, Mackenzie (Justin) Johnson, Bryce Russell, and Ellie Mae Geer; three great-grandchildren, Willow, Jenson, and Jackson Warren; three brothers, William (Kim) Naugle, Howard (Sue) Naugle, and James (Kim) Naugle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Naugle.
Per Mary’s wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation, or funeral service.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
