Mary Jane "Janie" Fogelsonger

Mary Jane “Janie” Fogelsonger, 89, resident of Menno Haven Chambers Pointe and formerly of Newburg, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, September 13, 2025.

She was born on March 24, 1936 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late David Rodney and Luetta Jane (Shuman) Fogelsonger.

Janie was a graduate of Shippensburg High School and member of Newburg First Church of God. She worked as a banker for First National Bank in Shippensburg for 44 years, eventually retiring from Citizens Bank.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Ridge Cemetery. Chaplain Megan Gustafson will officiate. There will be no public viewing or visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newburg First Church of God, 260 Newburg Rd., Newburg, PA 17240.
