Mabel Pauline Wenger Hoover

Mabel Pauline Wenger Hoover, 93, of Gardners, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at her daughter’s home.

Born Wednesday, November 11, 1931 in Newburg, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Noah and Mabel Pauline Franklin Wenger.

Mabel was of the Methodist Faith. She was a former member of Hopewell United Methodist Church of McKinney. She loved to quilt, bake, spend time in her garden, and was an active member of her community.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan K. (Thomas) Day, Gardners, and Donna R. (Rick) Binner, Port St. Lucie, FL; four grandchildren, Heather L. (Dan) Baur, and Jonathan T. Day, all of Gardners, Austin R. (Karen) Binner, and Sydney R. (Jordan) Jenkins, all of Port St. Lucie, FL.; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Hoover who passed away June 23, 2024, and one brother, Allan Wenger.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Dick Reese officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
