Lonnie Ray Corle

Lonnie Ray Corle, 55, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Mercy House of Chambersburg, surrounded by his loving family.

Born Thursday, January 22, 1970 in Windber, Somerset County, he was a son of the late Rolla L. and Nancy J. Updegraff Corle.

Lonnie was a 1987 graduate of the Shippensburg Area High School. He was formerly employed at Steven E. Jaymes Construction, Chambersburg, with 15 years of service, and presently employed at First Impressions, Shippensburg.

He is survived by one son, David A. (fiancé Rachelle E. Geyer) Corle, Mercersburg; two sisters, Connie S. Shaneberger, and Tammy S. Corle, both of Chambersburg; one granddaughter, Alanna J. Corle, Mercersburg; one niece, Haley Shaneberger, Doylesburg; one nephew, Dylan Shaneberger, Huntingdon; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and lastly his furry companion, Nova.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother in-law, Wayne Shaneberger who passed away in 2019.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
