Liz Mariel Alicea Rivera

Liz Mariel Alicea Rivera, 53, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her home.

She was born on February 27, 1971 in Puerto Rico, a daughter of Humberto Alicea and Ana Luz Rivera Garcia, and stepdaughter of Rolando Cardenas.

Liz was a member of the Iglesias Pentecostes Jesucristo Fuente De Vida in Chambersburg. She enjoyed crafting and was a great cook. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Luis F. Lagos of Shippensburg; one sister, Doris Alicea; two half-siblings, Sheila and Juan Alicea; two nieces, Doriann and Dayanara; and one nephew, Angel. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Otterbein Cemetery. Pastor Faustino Ortiz will officiate.
