Leroy J. "Strawberry" Rhone

Leroy Junior “Strawberry” Rhone, 88, of Shippensburg, passed away the evening of Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home.

He was born on July 13, 1938, in Shippensburg, PA, Cumberland County, the son of the late Harry A. and Anna M. (Perry) Rhone. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie S. (Reed) Rhone, who passed away on October 26, 2013.

Leroy retired as a self-employed painter. He loved his property and enjoyed gardening.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Leroy will be privately laid to rest alongside his wife at Spring Hill Cemetery.
