Larry D. Stine, Sr.

Larry D. Stine, Sr., formerly of Biglerville, late of Greencastle, departed this life on the morning of Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Mercy House, Chambersburg.

He was born on September 19, 1942, in Berrysburg, a son of the late Lloyd and Marcella (Bowman) Stine and step-father, Paul Headdings. Larry married Sharon L. Gamble on October 9, 1970, in New Bloomfield.

Larry worked for Sunoco in Shippensburg, for forty-two years, holding many different positions and responsibilities over the years. In his free time he loved watching his sons and grandson race at the Path Valley Speedway, and enjoyed watching boxing.

In addition to his wife of fifty-six years, Sharon, he is survived by a daughter, Danielle Andral of Greencastle; three sons, Larrry D. Stine, Jr., of Shippensburg, Donald Stine of Blue Ridge Summit, and Ronald Stine of Biglerville; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Ott of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie and Kenny Stine.

His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Viewing will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Duncannon, at 1:00 p.m., on Friday afternoon.
