Larry E. Bishop

Larry E. Bishop, 88, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Monday, February 16, 2026 at his home.

He was born on March 26, 1937 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Janet (Bishop) Hafer.

Larry was a graduate of Chambersburg High School and worked for Mack Trucks, Inc. for 35 years. An avid outdoorsman, he loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and in his younger years enjoyed shooting pool. Larry was also a lifetime member of the Hub City Club.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Reese) Bishop of Shippensburg; two children, Deborah S. “Debbie” Naugle and husband Kirk and Michael E. “Mike” Bishop and significant other Martina Dagenhart, all of Shippensburg; five grandchildren, DeAnna Naugle and fiancé Brandon Diehl, Blake Naugle and wife Sumer, Logan Bishop and significant other Morgan Paynter, Jason Dagenhart, and Aleea Dagenhart; and six great-grandchildren, Huckson and Wrenley Naugle, Ryver and Tinnleigh Bishop, and Scarlett and Carson Diehl.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Larry’s wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation, or service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
