Kayla Jean Alexander-Ronk, 35, of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday, April 23, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born Friday, August 24, 1990 in Carlisle, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of Jeffrey A. and Martha J. (Post) Alexander of Shippensburg.
She was a 2008 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. Kayla was a CNA and worked as a Home Health Care Nurse.
She was a member of the Faith and Fire Church in Port Royal, PA.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dustin M. Ronk, whom she married October 7, 2023; one step-son, Colt Ronk and one step-daughter, Gracelynn Ronk, both of McVeytown; two sisters, Amy S. (Joshua) Failor, Orrstown, and Sabrina R. (Matthew) Vaughn, Newburg; two brothers, Joshua A. (Kristina) Alexander, Shippensburg, and Ethan E. (Brooklyn) Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Darin Rex and Pastor Timothy Vaughn officiating. Burial will be Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Post Family Cemetery in Salem West Virginia. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
