Julia E. "Judy" Brandeburg

Julia E. “Judy” Brandeburg, 75, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the Mercy House of Chambersburg.

Born November 16, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Edna (Sheaffer) Comerer.

Judy was a 1968 graduate of Big Spring High School. She retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot where she worked as a data system specialist. Aside from the work she did, Judy loved old movies, especially Turner Classic Movies. She was an avid shopper who enjoyed grabbing lunch and catching up with friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela “Angie” Facchinei and her husband, Vincent; two grandchildren, Joseph Facchinei and Madelyn Facchinei; and four siblings, Peggy Strohm, Barbara Weaver, Vesta Barnhart, and Briton Comerer.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Brandeburg; and two siblings, Hazel Rinaldi and Sonny Comerer.

Per Judy’s wishes, there will be no public viewing, visitation, or service at this time.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
