John Paul “Bama” Inge, 58, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the morning of Thursday, June 25, 2026, at his home.
Born Tuesday, February 27, 1968 in Lynchburg, VA, he was a son of Linda Gail Daniels Inge, Elmore, AL, and the late Ottie Boyd Inge, Sr.
John was of the Southern Baptist Faith. He was a United Army Veteran serving in Desert Storm, and many other combat locations. He retired September 19, 2018 from Letterkenny Army Depot as a Production Manager.
He was a member of the Hub City Club, the Minnequa Social Club, the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, and the Shippensburg Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 2500, all in Shippensburg, and the George Washington F.&A.M. # 143 Masonic Lodge, Chambersburg.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Joy Clough Inge, Shippensburg, whom he married in September 2012; two sons, Dillon P. (Stephanie) Inge, Fayetteville, and John Luke Inge, Elmore, AL; two brothers, O.B. Inge, Jr., Lynchburg, VA, and Leslie Reuben Inge, Elmore, AL; two sisters, Vivian Ann Inge, and Tammy Dean (Mike) Bowdin, all of Elmore, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Gail Inge.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday morning at the funeral home.
