Jerry D. Saphore

Jerry D. Saphore, 71, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation & Wellness Center.

He was born on May 9, 1954 in Gettysburg, a son of the late Robert F. Saphore and Annette Irene Kalandros.

Jerry was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War Era. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by three children, Robert (Maggie) Saphore of Missouri, Andrea (Jake) Dangerfield of Utah, and Rebecca Kane of Camp Hill; several grandchildren; and two siblings, Kendra (Mark Bauer) Saphore of St. College and Steve (Beverly) Saphore of Newburg.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Jerry’s wishes there will be no public viewing, visitation, or service. Jerry will be privately laid to rest at Longsdorf Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
