Jeffrey Lynn DeWalt

Jeffrey Lynn “Jeff” DeWalt, 70, of Neelyton, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Born June 14, 1956, he was a son of the late Ralph A. and Jean E. (Kane) DeWalt.

Jeff was a 1975 graduate of Shippensburg Senior High School, where he wrestled and played football. He loved hunting, classic cars, and listening to country music. Above all else, he enjoyed planting and tending to his flowers around his beautiful home.

He is survived by his sister, Debra McMullen and husband, Jeffrey of Shippensburg; and his aunt Beverly Green and husband, James of Mercersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Ray DeWalt.

Jeff’s memorial service will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium with Pastor Dan Fox officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
