Janet Carol Rabuck

Janet Carol Rabuck, of Newburg, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at the Orrstown Personal Care Home, Orrstown, PA.

Born Saturday, August 13, 1949 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Ruth J. Karper Spero.

She was a member of the Newburg First Church of God.

Janet retired in 2005 as a Supply Technician from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot after 22 years of service. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and their dogs. Janet loved tending to her home, cooking and cleaning.

She is survived by two sons, Rodney Scott (Melinda) Commerer, Fayetteville, and Loren Kip (Kristina) Commerer, Shippensburg; one step-son, Eric Rabuck; two grandsons, Dylan and Tyler; one granddaughter, Ashley; and several step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl A. Rabuck, who passed away February 22, 2023; one step-daughter, Ramona Rabuck; two brothers, Daniel Spero and Kenneth E. Spero, Jr.; and one sister, Sona Perry.

There will be no viewing, visitation, or funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a church of one’s choice or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
