Garnet L. Gayman, 81, of Pleasant Hall, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Paramount Senior Living.
He was born on October 4, 1944, in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, the son of the late Amos A. and Ruth V. Zullinger Gayman.
Garnet was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and faithful member of the Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church. He was a self-employed dairy farmer throughout his life.
He is survived by two sons, Steven L. (Tina) Gayman and Rodney L. (Karen) Gayman, all of Pleasant Hall; four grandchildren, Ashley Gayman and fiancé Quinn Ashwell of Winchester, VA, Katelyn (Cameron) Rjasko of Martinsburg, WV, Jacob (Kiley) Gayman of Dayton, OH, and Caleb (Adeline) Gayman of Emmaus, PA; and one great-grandson, Maverick Rjasko.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joy A. Stevick Gayman, who passed away on January 1, 2022.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Rev. John A. Melhorn will officiate. Burial will follow at Air Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
