Frank L. Reese, 68, of Oakville, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his home.
He was born on August 4, 1954 in Fayetteville, PA, the son of the late Donald Frank “Bud” and Sarah Jane (Reasner) Reese.
Frank was a member of the Hub City Club, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223, Durff-Kuhn VFW Post #6168, and Minnequa Social Club, all of Shippensburg. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife, Jessica, at Ocean City and Rehoboth beaches. The two also enjoyed listening to live music at local wineries and attending Bike Week at both Ocean City and Gettysburg. Frank also cherished his time spent attending different festivals with his daughter, Tasha. In his younger years, Frank did his fair share of hunting and fishing. Above all else in life, he loved and cared deeply about his family.
He is survived by four children, Donald Lewis (Nina) Reese, Tasha Louise (Bill Smith) Reese, Eric Reese, Sr., and Valerie Reese; four grandchildren, Brexley C. Reese, Boston L. Reese, Eric Reese, Jr., and Fisher McClausin; and two sisters, JoEllen Reese and Tammie (Mike) Rotz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica L. (Baum) Reese, who passed away on December 14, 2020.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
