Evelyn L. Fuller, 101, of Shippensburg passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Orrstown Personal Care Home. She was born on November 7,1924 in Orrstown, PA.
She married her husband Guy J. Fuller July 7, 1951. They were married 58 years before he preceded her in death on October 14, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Paul Martin and Dorothy Naomi (Baker) Staver.
Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Melissa (Jim) Reed and Cindy Unger; grandsons Brian (Steph) Reed, Justin (Tara) Reed, Matt (Afton) Unger, and Evan (Shea) Unger; great-grandsons Landon and Parker Reed and Hudson and Brogan Unger; one sister Dorothy Jean Bughman; one sister-in-law Mae Staver; and several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was also preceded in death by brother, Galen Staver, sisters Virginia Fry and Phyllis (Tilly) Douglas and son-in-law, Rich Unger.
In her early years Evelyn served as a Girl Scout leader. She was a member of the Shippensburg Civic Club, Shippensburg Garden Club, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Memorial Lutheran Church.
She was employed by several Shippensburg businesses including L'Aiglon, Town Cleaners, and Hoffman Mills.
Evelyn will be remembered for her spunky spirit, gift of gab, and loving personality. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and shopping. She loved to entertain and was a great hostess. She was the best Gigi to all her boys and, although she never had her own granddaughter, she loved each of her granddaughters-in-law like her own. She will be dearly missed.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg Kids Event Committee, c/o Debra Rhinehart, 137 W. King Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
