Eva Mae Miley, 85, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at home.
She was born July 23, 1935 in Metal Township, Franklin County. Eva was a daughter of late Charles L. and Elizabeth M. Weaver Neil.
She attended the Abundant Life Chapel, Chambersburg. Eva worked for Knouse Foods and as a waitress and cook at Johnnies for 24 years. Eva retired in 1992 from Diffy’s Restaurant. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur G. Miley whom she married August 1, 1950. One son, Roger L. Miley, one granddaughter, Melissa Miley, her companion of 30 years, Charles Hamilton, and 16 brothers and sisters are also deceased. Eva was the youngest and the last surviving sibling.
Eva is survived by four children, Charlotte Cramer and her companion, Howard Zeis of Mercersburg, Dorothy Marie (Robert) Crusey of Shippensburg and Arthur L. (Dorothy) Miley of Shippensburg, Tony Allen (Eva) Miley of New Franklin, two step-children, Tim (Tina) Hamilton of Shippensburg and Glen (Paula) Hamilton of Chambersburg, eight grandchildren, Jenny Miller, Bobby Cramer, Timmy Cramer, Corey Miley, Tina Brown, Austin Miley Black, Jared Hamilton and Janay Hamilton, four great-grandchildren, Zachary and Christina Cramer, Aliesha Schoff and Angelica Brown, a special niece, Violet Swank and many other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Upper Path Valley Cemetery. Officiating will be The Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
