Eva M. Farner, 90, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Orrstown Personal Care Home.
She was born on March 28, 1935 in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, a daughter of the late Clarence H. and Eva E. Clever Forrester, Sr.
Eva was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church and the Moon and Star Glass Club.
She is survived by three children, Wayne A. (Martha) Farner of Newburg, Debbie M. (Bill) Perry of Shippensburg, and Cindy R. (Robert) Hudgins of Boiling Springs; six grandchildren, Wendy (Tim) Henson, Travis Perry, Emily Farner, Jennifer Farner, Kayla Hudgins, and Jamie Hudgins; two sisters, Margaret G. Appleby and Wanda Lee Whitmer; sister-in-law, Mary Fraker; and brother-in-law, Bob Rhinehart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Wayne Farner, who passed away on October 19, 2012. Also preceding in death are three siblings, Clarence H. Forrester, Jr., Mary Diehl, and Elizabeth H. Holtry.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg with Pastor Timothy Redmond officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Eva will be privately laid to rest alongside her husband at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
