Ethel Marie Eutzy

Ethel Marie Eutzy, 86, resident of The Preserve at Cedarwood, Tyrone, PA, passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

She was born on January 11, 1940, in Harrisburg, PA, a daughter of the late Samuel S. and Clara I. Carl Myers.

Ethel was the devoted wife of the late James Eutzy, with whom she farmed side by side, and a loving mother and homemaker devoted to her family. For a period of time, Ethel operated a forklift for Double Day Publishing in Middletown. She enjoyed word searches and building puzzles.

She is survived by four children, Debra K. (Robert) Walters of Huntingdon, James F. (Patricia) Eutzy, Jr. of Huntingdon, Stacy Marie Eutzy of Tyrone, and Scott A. Eutzy of Hollidaysburg; six grandchildren, Ricky Eutzy, Joseph Eutzy, Joshua (Myra) Eutzy, Natasha (Michael) Garbinsky, Courtney Colon, and Brandon Seager; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Hain of Elizabethville.

In addition to her parents and husband, James Franklin Eutzy, who passed away on September 19, 2023, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Robert J. Walters III; and eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Larry Gipe will officiate. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
