Eric L. Boyd

Eric L. Boyd, 66, of Lurgan, passed away the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026 at his home.

He was born on November 24, 1959 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Adrian L. “Adie” and Peggy A. Stouffer Boyd.

Eric worked as a cement truck driver for Valley Quarries, Inc. He was known to love playing horseshoes and spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. Eric also enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by three children, Corey Boyd of Chambersburg, Jodi Boyd and fiancé Scott Eckenrode of Lurgan, and Daysha Coons and husband Matthew of Saxton; 10 grandchildren, Tiffany Hann and husband David, Angelica Bechtel, Brianna Boyd, Destinie Laughman, Jade Eyer, Alyssa Friend and husband Zack, Leah, Payton, Adalee, and Delani Coons; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert L. Boyd and wife Diane of Lurgan and Rick N. Boyd of Newburg.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Mr. Daryl Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
