Elmer R. “Andre” “Juney” Flory, Jr., 60, of Dry Run, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born September 29, 1959 in Chambersburg, PA. Elmer was a son of the late Elmer R., Sr. and Mary (Hasting) Flory.
He worked at Pepsi in Chambersburg, DeRose Industries in Chambersburg, East Coast Custom in Newville and retired from Miley Construction in Shippensburg. Elmer attended Blue Mountain Brethren in Christ Church, Newburg. He was a life member of the Vigilant Hose Company # 52, Shippensburg and a 1979 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Elmer enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, camping, cutting wood, mowing grass, playing basketball with cousins Bobby and Brad and most of all spending as much time as he could with his granddaughters. He honestly loved and adored them.
He is survived by his wife, Robin S. (Adams) Flory whom he married March 3, 1990, one daughter, Heather J. Flory of Willow Hill, two granddaughters, Nevaeh J. Hanley and Brianna R. Tomlinson both of Willow Hill, one sister, Pamela S. Deshong of Pittsburgh and one brother, Joseph W. Flory of Newville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Flory.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg with Pastor Luke Holtry officiating. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.
