Dorothea J. “Dottie” Faulkner, 74, of Ohio, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 at Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on August 29, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul Edward Slaven and Irene Ruth (Hoak) Breeding.
Dottie graduated from Fairborn High School in Ohio before dedicating most of her life to being a homemaker.
She was a faithful member of the New Hope Church in Dayton, OH. She was an avid shopper, lover of crafts, her cats and dogs, and watching NCIS reruns.
She is survived by three children, Gina Spero and her husband Eric of Shippensburg, Marla Spradlin of Florida, and David Spradlin of Ohio; two grandchildren, Danielle Rowles and her husband Troy of Mont Alto and Arian Cummings and her husband Denver of Fayetteville; four great-grandchildren Eilia, Kinsley, Maevlin, and Minkah; two siblings, Daniel Slaven and Lura Shelton and her husband Gene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, David Faulkner.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium. Per Dottie’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
