Dennis W. Lehman, 69, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the evening of Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born on April 22, 1956, in Chambersburg, a son of the late Marlin E. and Lillie Mae (Henderson) Lehman. Denny was a 1974 graduate of Shippensburg Area High School and a 1979 graduate of Shippensburg University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. He married Teresa A. Minor on March 22, 1980.

Earlier in life Denny worked for Cumberland Valley Co-Op and D & L Trucking, but spent the majority of his career at Delamor Enterprises as their accountant/controller, retiring in 2019. He was a member of the Ridge Covenant Brethren Church and served as its treasurer for many years.

While in high school Denny was a member of the West End Volunteer Fire Company and played basketball and football. Sports, especially basketball, became a life-long passion for Denny as he became and stayed heavily involved in the Shippensburg Area Youth Association as a basketball coach, as well as the Shippensburg Basketball Booster Club, of which he was president of for several years. He loved watching his daughter and granddaughters play sports and when he wasn’t coaching from the sideline, he was sure to be coaching from the bleachers. He also enjoyed golf. Denny was a big family man whom everyone seemed to know as he touched many many lives over the years with his constant involvement and advocation for youth sports in the Shippensburg community.

In addition to his wife of forty-six years, Teresa, he is survived by two daughters, Alisha Todd and husband Steve and Kendra Wiser and husband Nathan, both of Shippensburg; four granddaughters, Alaina, Keely, Brea, and Maci; his sisters, Nancy Russel of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Lehman.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Leon Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Friday afternoon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ridge Covenant Brethren Church at 1095 Ridge Rd, Shippensburg, PA 17257 or the Shippensburg Area Youth Association at P.O. Box 587, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
