Deborah Sue Fleck, 67, of Chambersburg, departed this life on the evening of Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her home.
She was born on December 1, 1957, in Pontiac, MI, the oldest daughter of Nancy I. (Weatherhead) Konkle and the late Raymond G. Konkle. Deborah was a graduate of Walled Lake High School, and attended Pensacola Christian College and Hyles-Anderson College. She married Marlin C. Fleck on June 30, 1979, in Rochester Hills, MI.
Deborah loved Jesus and her family and happily served in ministry throughout her life. She was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church in Chambersburg.
In addition to her husband of nearly forty-six years, she is survived by her mother, Nancy and her sister, Connie (Harold) Barker of White Lake, MI; her children, Cindy Joy (Robert) Morrissey of Madison Heights, MI; Daniel John Fleck of White Lake, MI; Raymond James (Mari) Fleck of Warrenton, VA; and Anthony Jarrett (Micah) Fleck of Hobart, IN. She has seven grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Konkle.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the New Testament Baptist Church, Chambersburg. Pastor Bob Morrissey and Brother Chris Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in the Old School Baptist Cemetery, Three Springs, at 2:30 p.m. Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Testament Baptist Church at 5444 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
