David A. Norman, 55, of Walnut Bottom, departed this life unexpectedly on Thursday, March 11, 2020.
He was born on December 18, 1964, in Rushville, IN, a son of Billy Joe and Patricia (Concannon) Norman. He was a 1984 graduate of Big Spring High School in Newville, PA.
David worked in the textile industry as a machine operator at Masland in Carlisle, PA.
He was always very creative and was never hesitant to do and try new things. In his free time David enjoyed playing music, listening to music, studying Jujitsu, teaching self-defense, gardening, and landscaping. He was also known to be an excellent cook.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his son, Taylor J. Norman of Carlisle; three siblings, Barbara A. Norman of Royersford, James T. Norman and wife Meghan of Schwenksville, and Janice D. Norman of Carlisle; two nieces; one nephew; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph P. Norman.
A memorial service will be held at a future date and time due to the COVID-19 virus. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg, has been entrusted with arrangements.
