David Louis Miller, 68, passed away on July 11, 2023 in his home in Chambersburg, PA.
David was born on March 5, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to Louis and Viola Miller. He graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 1973 and from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s in Law Enforcement in 1981.
David had a distinguished career of service in the United States Marine Corps, Maryland Air National Guard, Ocean City Police Department, and Drug Enforcement Administration. Among other awards and commendations throughout his career, he received a Silver Star.
David made an impact on many lives. He was known for his humor, kindness, leadership, and trademark mustache.
David is survived by his daughters, Jessica Miller and Katelyn (Chad) Manges; sister, Linda (Richard) Gawthrop; as well as numerous best friends.
A private memorial service will be held by his family.
