Dale E. Kline

Dale E. Kline, 82, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Friday, July 10, 2026, at Celebration Villa of Shippensburg.

He was born on September 18, 1943 in Chambersburg, PA, the son of the late Curvin A. and Sarah (Karper) Kline. He married Marie E. (Barnes) on August 6, 1966.

Dale was a 1962 graduate of Shippensburg High School and active member of Grace United Church of Christ. He was also a member of Cumberland Valley Masonic Lodge #315, where he was active for over 40 years. Dale worked as an auto mechanic technician for 21 years before retiring from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. After retirement, he owned and operated Razor Sharp Shop from his home.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, Marie E. Kline of Shippensburg, he is survived by one daughter, Robyn N. Carper of Selinsgrove; one grandson, Hunter Carper, who was his pride and joy; two nieces, Annette Evans and husband Jack, and Michelle Weaver and husband Kirk; and one brother-in-law, Harold Barnes and wife Sally.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joan K. Minick.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Dale’s wishes there will be no public viewing. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at a later date and time.
