Constance G. Plasterer

Constance G. “Connie” Plasterer, 81, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Tuesday, march 14, 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was a daughter of the late Norman H. and Iola O. Blubaugh Gibble.

Connie was a 1962 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. She worked in the cafeteria for the Shippensburg School District with 15 years of service, before working as a clerk at Bon-Ton in Chambersburg, with over 12 years of service.

She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Shippensburg. She was a member of the Valley Forest #145 Tall Cedars Cedaretts. Connie was an avid gardener and enjoyed decorating for every occasion.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ira Gerald “Jerry” Plasterer, whom she married August 25, 1962; one son, Kevin A. (Kris) Plasterer, Shippensburg; one daughter, Karen A. (Jeffrey) Horne, Shippensburg; three grandchildren, Ryan S. Plasterer, Amy L. Plasterer, and Justin D. Horne, all of Shippensburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5150 Letterkenny Road W., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
