Connie J. Kriner, 81, of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Monday, September 4, 1944 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth Shockey Hixon. Connie married Leonard B. Kriner on December 24, 1960, at the King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg.
Connie was a member of the King Street United Brethren Church. She worked as a seamstress at the former Stanley Company with 30 years of service, and also worked in customer service at CITI Corp., with 12 years of service, retiring in 2008.
She was a member of the Burt J. Asper American Legion Post # 46 Ladies Auxiliary, Chambersburg. Connie was a former Girl Scout Leader, she loved to travel, and spend time with her family. Her family was her priority and always came first.
In addition to her husband of sixty-five years, Leonard, she is survived by two daughters, Wanda Kay Mixell, Chambersburg, and Billie Jo (Steven) McCartney, Ft. Loudon; seven grandchildren, Larry Rosenberry III, Rebecca (Joe) Eslinger, Marianna (David) Reid, Katrina (Matthew) Klohr, Kyle Smith, Kari (A.J.) DeSantis, and Catlynn (Savannah) Serfass; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Lehman, Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbie Jo Rosenberry; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc, with Pastor Wayne Good officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Burt J. Asper American Legion Post # 46 Ladies Auxiliary, 755 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
