Clay P. Strohm

Clay P. Strohm, 60, of York, departed this life on the evening of Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

He was born on July 18, 1965, in Chambersburg, a son of the late Robert A. and Sandra (Piper) Strohm, Jr. Clay was a 1983 graduate of Central High School and went on to earn a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management.

Over the years, Clay worked in several York area restaurants; at York Tape and Label; and lastly at Bell Mark Technologies. For most of his life Clay’s hobby was being a train enthusiast.

He is survived by his brother, Robert A. Strohm, III of York and four cousins, Ed, Michael, Skyler, and Ginger Strohm.

Clay was preceded in death by his parents.

His graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 3, 2025, in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
