Chris S. Ehrhart

Chris S. Ehrhart, 60, of Orrstown, departed this life on the morning of Thursday, June 18, 2026.

He was born on July 20, 1965, in Chambersburg, a son of the late James W. and Mary C. (Myers) Ehrhart.

Chris worked for Carter Lumber and several other sawmills over the years. He most recently worked at Hostetters Salvage Yard.

Chris faithfully attended Jesus Is Lord Ministries, Biglerville. He was well known to be a very thoughtful person with a big heart, very giving and generous, and was always looking out for others. In his free time Chris enjoyed being outdoors and in nature. He liked hunting, gardening, hiking, hunting for mushrooms, and driving the backroads.

He is survived by four siblings, Quintin J. Ehrhart and wife Tracey, Carol M. Eckenrode and husband Daryl, Sylvia R. Hykes and husband Benjamin, and Eric R. Ehrhart, all of Orrstown; and many nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents.

The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., has been entrusted with his funeral arrangements. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
