Carl D. Allison, 83, of Maple Hill Ave., Shippensburg, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 at his home.
Born Wednesday, September 25, 1929 in Mattawana, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late James M. and Ethel C. Bubb Allison.
Carl was a graduate of McVeytown Senior High School. He was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Carl retired from Letterkenny Army Depot as a Computer Analyst and was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church in Shippensburg and a member of NARFE.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Thelma R. Secrest Allison; two daughters, Cathy J. Johnson and her husband Barry of Newville, and Rhonda A. Capron and her husband Timothy of Rocklin, CA; one sister, Mary Reed of Mattawana; four grandchildren, Kristy Warren and her husband Travis of Chambersburg, Eric Capron of Irvine, CA, Mara Sakkas of Greece and Jonathan Capron of Waco, TX.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
