Beverly Louise Kendall

Beverly Louise Kendall, 75, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

She was born on July 30, 1951, in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Oscar and Isabell (Furry) Geyer and married John J. Kendall on October 31, 1987, in Smithport, PA.

Earlier in life Beverly worked as an executive secretary for the former Geyer Lumber Co., was a realtor for a period of time, but was primarily a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, Greencastle, since 1994.

In addition to her husband of thirty-nine years, John, she is survived by three sons, Christopher Warne of Florida, Alan Kendall and wife Julie of Newville, and Damian Kendall of Shippensburg; one daughter, Valarie Hwan and husband Clifford of Ohio; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister in law, Ann Furry; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and Gene Furry.

Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or funeral service at this time, however a memorial service will be held at the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, in the future.
