Betty J. Rodriguez

Betty Fletchinger Rodriguez, 94, of Shippensburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

She was born on February 22, 1932 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Eugene Fletchinger and Virginia Lockbaum Hunsecker.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Robison; two brothers, Michael Fletchinger and Steven Hunsecker; five grandchildren, David Swartz (Beth Houck), Marilyn, Vivian, Kathy, and Pedro of Baltimore; three great-grandchildren, Courtney Nichole (David Tkack), Brandon Swartz (Allison), and Nicholas Swartz (Karli Shields); and nine great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Pascual Rodriguez; and one grandson, Danny Swartz.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Services will be private.
