Bette L. Rosenberry

Bette L. Rosenberry, 91, of Shippensburg, passed away the evening of Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Mercy House of Chambersburg.

She was born on February 1, 1934 in Fannettsburg, a daughter of the late Norman L. and Mary E. Boggs Glessner. She married Melvin S. “Gene” Rosenberry on March 23, 1973 in Hagerstown, MD. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2021.

Bette was a 1952 graduate of Fannett Metal High School and was the owner and operator of Bette’s Cakes and Bette’s Beauty Salon. In past years, Bette enjoyed volunteering at the Cumberland Valley Hose Co. #2 fair stand. She also did volunteer work at the Chambersburg Hospital.

She is survived by one daughter, Kitty L. Liddle of Shippensburg; two sons, Daryl C. D’Ambrosio of Shippensburg and Gregory C. D’Ambrosio of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Anthony “Tony” D’Ambrosio, Michael D’Ambrosio, Matthew D’Ambrosio, and Angela (Matt) Rubino; and several great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
